OceanWise joins the Smart Ports Alliance

We are excited to announce that we are a member of the global non-profit member organisation dedicated to promoting the use of technology in the port industry: The Smart Ports Alliance (SPA).

This organisation was created as a means of helping ports and terminals to take ownership of the “Smart Port” term, and to provide a collaborative space where they can openly discuss common challenges, and learn about the skills and practices that are needed to solve those problems. Our technology partners understand that there is a knowledge and skills gap in the industry. They are committed to supporting ports and terminals of all sizes as they go through a period of digital adoption and change by sharing knowledge in a safe environment free from commercial pressures. OceanWise already has a history of providing support and education to the industry, and clearly shares our passion, values and principles. There are some exciting developments in store for the Smart Ports Alliance in 2022, and I’m looking forward to working with OceanWise to move this learning network forward.”
